A unique challenge, this project involved laying 4km of pipe in the solid rock creek bed of the narrow Mark Canyon. As Mark Creek is the source of Kimberley’s drinking water, innovative hammer techniques were used to avoid using blasting powder which might have contaminated the water supply. This was a three phase project which involved logging, stripping and grubbing, pioneering and finally laying pipe.
